Oh Amy.... It is gorgeous. GORGEOUS ❣️ And I loved the live. Thank you for all you do. And I'm sorry to hear that the whole, getting a house, is almost impossible.... It is the same here, in the Netherlands. It sometimes worries me, thinking about our (grand) kids their adult lives.
I bought a "New Home" sewing machine back in 1970. Inside pieces are metal and it still works very well. It is time for a good cleaning and re-oiled and is heavy, but love it. 😊😊
I got a kick out of the stories about using fabric scissors on paper. My mom was very serious about not letting us use her scissors, and then when I had my 2 kids I was exactly the same way. Haha
I have seen you do this technique so many times, even with texture paste and a stencil but, it looks so much like fabric. I was searching Tim Holtz fabrics since it wasn't linked. I finally gave up and asked for the link. YOU NEED TO BE A DESIGNER FOR TIM HOLTZ!!!!
I originally built a studio in a detached garage with baseboard heat. We put in a closet with shelving and an heater specific to that space. Kept all my inks, dyes, sprays etc in that closet so we could turn down heat in the larger space sometimes. Saved my supplies more than once with out temps here in pretty far north Michigan
Union family too always and forever. Santa Claus letters too but Santa knows all for my granddaughters. He knows what they want. Wafer dies for the win with Tim Holtz stamps. Yay!
I post multiple videos a week and go live every Sunday plus bonus lives. It's up to the viewers whether or not they check the channel pages of their favorite content creators (or their other social media - I post to my FB page and IG every time I have a new post) to see if there are new videos. Relying on the main page feed means you're missing out on a ton of content
lollll oh trust me I swear like a trooper (over everything all the time) - but I don't swear in videos (and try to avoid it when I'm live lol) b/c of monetization issues and also to keep from shocking people. Don't think it's appropriate of me to be explaining what I'm doing and then dropping those words in but yeah...... it's why I mostly film and then remove audio and voiceover when editing ;) ;)
-20 celsius is -4 Farenheit - sounds like anything minus is cold. This is why I live in Orlando, FL where it rarely gets under 40 Farenheit which is cold to me.
I love how intricate the tree branches are and that the die cuts it as such. I’m puzzled as to why there’s no trunk though. It makes my creations look like it’s floating or I cut the trunk off.
it's just the art style - you could layer more of the trunk pieces if it bothers you (I am fine with it) plus other makers have turned it upright to make it into a small tree which is a fun look
One reason I’ve hesitated getting the dies, I wish they made them thinner so you could see where they need to go, and have them separated. A bit pricey to have to cut them apart..
@@kathyp374 thinner dies don’t hold up well over time and will warp. As for the price - SSS has their dies manufactured in the US and it costs more. For them to be detached the price would be even more. I don’t mind snipping mine apart it’s how it’s always been (the brands that offer it it’s great) and I only have to do it once.
Amy, we all love you and your “unique” personality and humor (that is what I was told,LOL)!

No link because it's not a Tim Holtz fabric. I'm still in disbelief and awe. So good, Amy, so good!!!
ahhhh lol - I was so confused by the live chat comment b/c I'd mentioned how I don't use fabric. Yeah it's all paper and ink and paste!! :D

I just love watching you craft. You remind me of me. *lol* Except I do a lot of swearing when I can't find something. *lol*

Noting but rain and cold wind here in Nova Scotia for the past two weeks. Still waiting for the ark to come down the streetlol

Watching on the replay! I always forget to heat emboss when colouring stamps

Haha even with a power outage I finally made it in time for your live🎉😂❤
What a nightmare the Posties are on strike 😕💟
Will the “Amy & Chris Show” be going on tour? Gratefully, Mary, Buffalo, NY
lol!! ;)

Anyone who used my dressmaking scissors would be paying to replace them.😠💟
yup - the good scissors ain't cheap and woe be unto those who mess with the ones dedicated to fabric ;) ;)
